This week was crazy hot here so we took the girls to a water park. When we got there all the adults were behind a little gate watching the kids having the best time. So much laughter! The girls turned to me, big brown eyes shining and said “ Mamma, can you play with us?” I looked about. Were adults even allowed? Then I looked down. Mamma was in the longest hippy skirt you could imagine. That getting drenched could result in a wardrobe malfunction. Then…then… the kid inside me said to hell with it. I LOVE the water. Not throwing yourself in, under or over it just isn’t natural. I ran in with them. We were screaming with laughter, all of us soaked to the skin and leaping about. My husband said that I was having more fun than them if that’s possible. Life’s too short not to play. Not to seize the moment. Not to live damn it. Get up. Dance. Sing. Move. Run. Love. LIVE. What a perfect way to celebrate the beginning of Leo season. The sign which rules all things joy, creativity, passion and play. Enjoy! xoxo Pic by Agoes Antara

I’ve always loved nature. It’s been my refuge, my ally, my salvation.
When connecting to Spirit , whether for another or solely for myself, one of the Spirit animals to come through has consistently been the owl. It allows me to observe in silence, perched upon a quiet branch, high up in the tree. Through the act of just being still, many things can be revealed. Owl energy imparts focus, patience and is deeply private. It is the bridge between worlds and can see in the dark. I also love the fact that they are connected to books, learning and reading. One of the first things it can help you with is to learn about yourself, all of you, not just the parts you wish to show to the light. They are always there, all you have to do is reach out. I wanted to share with you this beauty. Two of my favourite things all rolled into one. Owls and stardust baby. What could be more perfect? Which animal energy calls to you? via The Earth Page Feeling feisty as all get out of late? Butting heads with all n sundry? Sass mouth in overdrive?
Mars, our planet of war, action and desire has been blazing through home sign Aries since May 24 and has had a bit of a wild ride, especially recently. From 5 July to August 20 our planet of get up and go moves into slow and steady Taurus. Whilst the preferred fast pace of Mars can feel reigned in by Bull energy it’s what I call the Muhammad Ali placement. He literally had it in this sign. Once harnessed it is like a locomotive. He was determined, focussed and incredibly powerful. A true “ ballet of stubbornness “. This a great time for chilling the bleep out, getting finances sorted, replenishing your energies and bolstering your reserves. What deserves your undivided attention? Nature - the domain of Taurus - will provide a wonderful tonic. Kick your shoes off, put your back against a tree, breathe and just be. This comes with a caveat for on 1 August Mars, Uranus and the North Node all meet ….exactly. This is rare and potentially explosive. Sure, it can produce fantastic revelations and opportunities to spur you into action. An infinity and beyond type deal. Ground breaking. A totally different terrain. But bear in mind if it’s going to kick off no one will want to back down. No one. So the part I wrote about connecting to nature, breathing deep and chilling the eff out? That goes …ohhhhh…about a thousand fold then. May the force be with you. Xoxo When hearing the salacious details of someone’s life, situation or character ask yourself…is the source of this information reliable? Credible? Does your gut tell you differently? What are the persons motives in the telling?
One of the many things I’ve learned through my time on earth and in being in the Spiritual industries is to really feel into what’s being presented and dig below the surface. X - Ray vision for the soul, so to speak. At times it’s been very difficult to peel back the layers, other times crystal clear. Does it feel off kilter? Does something feel like it’s missing? Are there a myriad of undercurrents? The more time you spend busy working on yourself, knowing yourself and loving yourself, coming back to you and what you feel, see or hear, the more inclined you will be to recognise and accept others for who they truly are, at their soul level. The good, the bad and the ugly. For sometimes the wolf comes dressed in sheeps clothing and other times the “big bad wolf” is just crying out for love. Poetry by SRW Poetry Late last night I was flicking through TV channels and came across a ghost hunter program. The investigators were shouting at those long passed, presumably to get a rise out of them. It was chaotic and sort of rude.
Whilst I understand the theory - strong emotion does yield certain results - I also thought it was akin to a toddler shaking its fist at the vast expanse that is the afterlife and stomping its foot for it to perform. For one, many of those places hold the energy of folks who’ve lived through difficult, sad or violent times. They may even have been the ones who perpetrated said events. Two, you have no idea whom or what you’re connecting to. Without proper training or experience you may get a whole lot more than you bargained for. Personally, any interaction with Spirit/s requires being as clear and quiet a vessel as possible. So zero alcohol the day prior to reads - easy cause I rarely imbibe. Yep, it makes me the worlds most boring lightweight but I’m cool with that. Keeping a well nourished mind and bod also helps. So does immersing yourself in and being receptive to Nature. Oddly the best way to connect with Spirit is to ground within yourself. Kind of like a tree. It’s hard to reach the stars without anchoring to the earth first. How do you like to connect? I’d love to hear your techniques. And p.s. if you’re ever lurking about a spooky place, looking for signs of the paranormal, please remember your manners. They were once people too…long, long ago. xoxo Whoooo hoooo Mamma, here we go….The Spring Equinox kick starts Aries season and the beginning of the Astrological year.
The Sun sits at zero degrees, which us star gazers call the Aries Point. It’s ripe n juicy with more than a dash of bravado. It’s a little - or a lot - in your face. And it’s …hopeful. As I look out my window I see bunches of daffodils springing ( pardon the pun ) up everywhere. They’re wild and happy. They bring such joy and I want to go play and sing born free whenever I see them. They’re hard to ignore. Aries is the infant of the zodiac. It’s numero uno. Sass pants. Aries rules the Self. Although we won’t truly get to experience the season of the Ram until its April 1st New Moon, now is the perfect time to map out where best to place your energies. Remember, thoughts and words are spells. Where ensures maximum growth? Are you fearful or complacent? Have you compromised yourself or overcompensated? Because Aries doesn’t take crap from anyone. It’s the part of you that tells bullies to step off, gets you out of bed in the morning, works tirelessly towards a goal, fights for and protects what it loves. It’s the part of you that whispers or screams …” I will not abandon myself, I will not abandon myself, I will not abandon myself. “ ❤️🩹 We all have Aries somewhere in our charts. Find it and you find yourself, battle scars n all. Don’t you dare look away. You’re fecking magnificent. Wishing you all an amazing, safe, joyful and healthy new Astro Year. Go find your smile. Xoxo I had a client say recently “ please don’t judge me “, before explaining a totally natural predicament. The vulnerability in their voice was touching.
Fun fact…psychics are people too. Anyone who really knows me knows my determined, deeply private side and the need to do it all by myself. I hate asking for help. HATE IT. They also know of my potty mouth which has been heard across 5 continents. As my grandma would say I “ could make a bullocky blush”. Look, we all eff up. Everyone. Daily. Like when I was new to Zoom and got my hand caught in a drawer. I mean really caught, like breaking my hand kinda caught along with ALL the appropriate language. All whilst my lovely client was patiently sitting there privy to the shite show. Or the time I was so bloody tired from being up all night with infant twins that I forgot I’d read for the lady in front of me like ohhhhhh, about 5 times already. Smooooooth Deb. Even the most spiritual / learned / intellectual amongst us are still having a human experience. That’s what we signed up for…yeah? The trip up comes when you don’t allow for any flaws within yourself ( good luck with that ) or get nice and comfy on your pedestal by judging or critiquing another’s life. None of us are without flaws. Strive for excellence. Perfection? Doesn’t exist. What I can promise is complete honesty with you about anything that is coming through or just in general for that matter. I will not tell you things that I don’t see/ hear / feel. I will not bullshite you. You will have my full and undivided attention. I will show up completely. All I ask is for you to do the same. To show up. Completely, sans B.S. And watch the conversation bloom. And P.S. …Judgement doesn’t sit at this table. Have a great week m’lovelies. Xoxo Pic via Unsplash A few days ago, on the 18th of February, we took a dip into Pisces season. This marks the wrapping up of the Astrological year.
Pisces is the final sign before the rebirth that accompanies the time of Aries on March the 20th, the Vernal Equinox and beginning of Spring here in the Northern Hemisphere. So it’s a fab time to nut out what needs to be released, brought to a close and removed in order for fresh life to emerge. The surrender. Pisces echoes the stillness and depths of the 12th house in the chart. It is the slice of pie where our intuition, secrets, emotion and fear reside. It is the place that gives us rest, meditation and peace. Our soul lives here. So use this time wisely. Replenish your Spirit, commune with nature, clear out the clunky clutter. Neptune is co ruler of Pisces and the King of the Ocean. Imagine yourself immersing completely in its healing waters, only to emerge cleansed, refreshed and ready to take on a new astrological year. Maybe even let out a little squeal. I always do. Enjoy taking the plunge! Have a beautiful week. xoxo via Avery Cocozziello Unsplash The best thing about being psychic?
Being able to see, hear and feel the undercurrents of a place, situation and of a person. To see compassion in someone’s heart, warmth in their eyes, beauty within. Even when it’s not immediately apparent. The worst thing about being psychic? Being able to see, hear and feel the undercurrents of a place, situation and of a person. To see a lack of compassion in someone’s heart, coldness in their eyes, callousness within. Even when it’s not immediately apparent. It’s a double edged sword you see? But one which I wield with profound gratitude. For this path has been very, very long fought and incredibly hard won. It is a part of my essence. My light. And a persons essence, soul or Spirit is something which cannot be taken. Only given with their permission. Find what brings you joy. And closer to your essence. Celebrate what makes you uniquely you. Curate your life to reflect that. We only get one shot at this incarnation. Honour it. Have a gorgeous week m’lovelies. xoxo Can you feel change flowing towards you? Courage rising like a tide within?
Welcome to the Year of the Black Water Tiger. From Feb 1, 2022 to Jan 21, 2023 we have this powerful animal overseeing all, lending it’s vitality and strength to those who choose to embrace it’s gifts. Although the first day of the Chinese Spring isn’t until February 4, the energy being ushered in is one of innovation, growth and creation. It is likened to a birth, or rebirth, and with careful planning and leaving our egos firmly planted in the previous year, can yield the taking hold of an idea, beginnings of a business or a peak in artistic and technological ventures. Design also features heavily. The Tiger in Chinese mythology is considered the King of all beasts and one which expels all evil. This can get right up some peoples noses. No matter. The Apex Feline is vital, altruistic and willing to walk it’s own path. Water brings contemplation, calm and the ability to simply observe. To reflect upon that which is your environment. It is emotion and imagination. Through quiet meditation and truthfully asking yourself “ Who am I? “ you can gain a significant renewal of your focus, determination and life force. Don’t be afraid to express yourself authentically. It is your birthright. Bookmark February 18 when between the hours of 3 and 5 am it will be the hour, day, month and year of the Black Water Tiger. A great day to get super clear on and welcome in that which gives your life more wealth. Literally and metaphorically. More power to you. xoxo |
