February Skies 2018

February dawns off the back of a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, heightening emotions and where our loyalties lie. For those in the northern hemisphere, there will be no Full Moon this month, which is a particularly rare event. The last time this occurred was in 1999. If you haven’t been getting the emotional support you need then this is the time to explore what fills your cup in matters of home and the heart. The energy is still quite electrified so may take a few days to calm and centre. Open and honest communication leads to inspiration on February the 3rd and your hopes and dreams are given weight.

Loving Venus is well and truly centre stage from February the 4th until the 10th, using her wit and charm just in time for Valentines Day. Unique and special ways in which to connect are brought to the fore and you’ll be itching to do something different with those who matter most. You may want to go over the top with gifts of love then so just make sure that the bank balance can keep up! For those seeking someone special, a person outside of your usual romantic “type” could become appealing, as will those from different cultural or philosophic backgrounds.

All of our planets are moving forward this month, urging us to put into action plans that have been stalled from late last year. Our confidence to do so is given a boost from the 10th to the 14th of the month, due to the influence of lucky Jupiter and original Uranus. This combination crackles with activity. Be sure to remain open to others needs though, as ego with a capital E is in the air.

The New Moon in the freedom loving sign of Aquarius on the 15th of February is embedded with potent Solar Eclipse energy. This stirs the winds of change and brings the promise of new ways to present your distinct talents to the world. It is closely linked with self-expression planet Mercury, urging you to walk the walk and talk the talk. Thoughts themselves just won’t cut it.

The above theme continues on the 17th and the 18th of the month but your energy may be starting to flag. There is a very big shift from the highly sociable vibe that has carried February to a much more reflective tone. Getting away may be high on your list of priorities with nature and quiet calling.
