Just when I think I've got them figured out they'll switch and I have to adapt quick smart or be left in the dust. Gemini is the sign of the twins. For as far back as I can remember, water has been a tonic for me. Whether it be a bath, a waterfall, lake or ocean, I’m addicted to the ritual of "washing the day away". It’s a place of solitude, pondering, gratitude and yeah, at times, my cranky place. I imagine it all leaving me and in my minds eye see it washed down the drain to be reabsorbed and transformed by the earth for another day. Big hippy that I am. The ruler of this Moon, Mars, whipping through the sign of Gemini is urging us to get our thinking caps on and come up with a game plan of how to move things forward. He's squaring off to King Neptune, God of the Ocean, however, and may produce, lethargy, apathy or labouring under a misapprehension. A tad of a head fuq if you let it. Don’t. Even though our minds are running at warp speed, our bodies may be just needing to chill and float. Feel it out and go with the flow. Pluto, another planet associated with Scorpio, is super active now and hooks up with both the Sun and Moon. Pluto pushes for the truth, even if you’ve gotta go through a mountain of shit to get there. It’ll bring that gunk up so it can be washed away. Purged. Kinda like a cosmic jet hose. Whilst preparing for our epic journey, my husband & I took a good look around our place to see what we wanted to take into this next phase of our lives. We coincidentally watched a doco called The Minimalists - awesome and inspiring, check it out- & BAM! that was it. A Herculean effort was launched into getting rid of practically everything we owned & the effects have been wonderful. Cathartic even. There comes a time when the stuff you own starts to own you. ( Although I did manage to ship 6 boxes of much loved books to the other side of the planet to welcome us to our new abode. Cut me some slack. I am a Taurus. ) This is the beauty & the contradiction of this sign. It's associated with finance, stuff & the finest things money can buy. But it is also enamoured by nature, delights in life's simplicities & revels in a beautiful meal, warm bath & a comfy bed. Not to mention someone glorious in it. Yum. The ruler of this New Moon, Venus is still in recovery from her recent retrograde. She's finally moving forward but still smarting a tad from matters brought to light. Questions around vulnerability, love and values have bubbled up and for some, this wasn't an entirely pleasant experience. Enter Saturn, standing still in the sky & in a staring match with Chiron & Venus. Who will blink first? Theme's of time, getting real & doing the hard yards may leave you worn out & touchy. Ouch factor galore but also brilliant for clearing out the dead wood & the bullshit. Stripping everything bare.
