Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 🌝 25 degrees Pisces ♓️
I love to travel. I love the whole idea of throwing a bunch of stuff in a bag and hauling my bones to some far flung escape. It sends ripples down my spine. 
But have you ever reached your destination only to find that your meticulously packed luggage hasn’t arrived with you? 
First there is the panic. You try and tell yourself that this can’t really be happening. Then the anger. Followed by major disorientation about what you’re going to do without all of your stuff and how to get more stuff to replace the old stuff. No wonder you wind up feeling stuffed. 
After a while you adjust to your luggage-less existence and just concentrate on the bare necessities. A toothbrush and shampoo here, locally made sandals there. You come to realise that 3/4 of what you packed wasn’t necessary and actually weighed you down, its just familiarity that made you believe to the contrary. 
This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is a bit like the above. In the sign of Pisces and with connections to Chiron, the wounded healer, you may very well be feeling like you just stepped off the whirly gig and are a tad exposed in the process. You may feel like people are rummaging through your luggage and you can’t do a damn thing about it. Mars is engaged which is upping the ante in wanting to protect what we carry with us, our hopes, our dreams, our quirks and compulsions, however crumpled and worn. The south node is activated also, enhancing the need to cling to what we know because its safe to us. 
But the whole theme of this time is to Let. It. Go. Lunar Eclipses are doors closing. Pisces energy dissolves and is the ultimate in surrender which is what you’re being asked to do now. Let go how you thought it should be. Let go of the should have’s and the if that’s. Let go of the luggage that you think defines you, that you think is there to shelter you, but actually impedes progress. Emotional habits and relationships that have become burdensome can be released now. It’s exhausting carrying all of that stuff around. 
Take yourself to the ocean, literally or figuratively. Immerse yourself fully in the here and now. Soak up every ounce of what it has to offer you. You've made it to this new and strange place, even if your luggage didn’t. 
And thank upstairs for that.

One thing I've learned with this work is never to judge something or someone at face value. 
The effortlessly happy person you see at the grocery store? Suffers from depression. 
The couple in the perfect marriage? Have hit rock bottom. 
The high flying corporate big wig? 
Aches for a real partnership. 
The taxi driver at 3am? Holds an MBA in their home country. 
It's my job to see beyond the surface of things. To not judge a book by its cover and to read between the lines. 
It brings perspective and a freakin sigh of relief in knowing that the rest of us don't have it all in the bag even if our Facebook profiles say we do. 
Don't believe the hype but believe in yourself. You're probably doing much better than you think you are. Be kind.

☽New Moon Solar Eclipse ☾
✨10 degrees Virgo♍️
Last night I had the most powerful of dreams. It consisted of two massive yellow and white pythons intertwined on the ceiling of my reading room. The ceiling fell away, exposing the tapestry of the night sky above. The snakes wrapped themselves around a giant tree branch, in essence becoming an enormous Caduceus. They then shed their skins. 
My immediate thoughts upon waking were about the upcoming Solar Eclipse. The first in a series of eclipses, this particular one is in the sign of Virgo, the healer. Solar eclipses fling open the door to fresh new beginnings, fresh energy. Its like a high frequency, mega watt New Moon and this one sits right next to the North Node, which further pushes you to step out of your comfort zone and toward what you need to accomplish in this lifetime. Like the ceiling in the dream, anything that has been impeding your vision falls away. Cor blimey. No where to hide. Actually this New Moon is a “Ring of Fire’ Micro moon. Anything superfluous gets burned up. Holy shitballs. 
Saturn and Neptune align once more in preparation for their final dance together on the 10th. This tale of two snakes began way back in November 2015 with one representing structure, order and our foundations and the other, the complete dissolving of the former. Since they first met last year there may have been many a rude awakening with your illusions about something or someone shattered. We are made now to look at how things actually are, not how we want them to be. 
The Caduceus was carried by the Roman God Mercury, the ruler of this entire shebang. Mercury has gone on flight mode and left the building. Its not sure whether its Arthur or Martha, so theres no wonder us down here on this blue ball maybe feel the same way. 
The trick is to take it sloooowww. Virgo froths at the mouth over attention to detail, so indulge it. Mercury retrograde says the key to the healing that needs to happen now is within. Snake is earth energy so get connected, walk with no shoes on or hang out with a tree. It is also transformation and rebirth. Whatever is brought to the surface now may take at least until Mercury goes forward on the 21st to materialise properly but potentially the ripples are felt until February. Slow and steady babies. 
Finally, whoever carried the Caduceus was a negotiator of peace. The first person we need to do that with is ourselves, capiche? 
You can do it. I know you can.
