8 degrees I love the ocean. It's power, gentle quiet, it's roar. It teems with energy, the life force of this planet while feeling distinctly not of this world. My favourite thing to do is dive down the to bottom of the sea and turn to see the sun shining through the water. The way the light dances and fragments. The feeling of being cocooned. I've never been one of those folk who refuses to wet their hair. Total immersion or nothing I'm afraid. I shoot back up and break the surface, feeling refreshed, cleansed, baptised somehow. A total connection with my spirit. Often I'll pretend I'm an otter and do a back flip just because I can. Pure joy. Scorpio is the gatekeeper to our soul. It's domain being whatever is submerged or hidden. Like a diver in search of pearls it knows it has to plumb the depths in order to reveal what is of true value. Ever had one of those days where you just couldn't play nice anymore, conform and well...behave? That once the truth was seen it couldn't be unseen and standing by your principles was more important than keeping the peace? Then you're gonna love this full moon. Falling in the sign of warrior Aries and with his traditional consort Eris and Uranus along for the ride this moon is just begging for you to take a bolt cutter to anything that has shackled your mojo and kept you mute, paralysed or invisible. IMO, I think she just had a gutful of preening posers and of being rejected and ostracised so she rocked up uninvited to their party and lobbed a golden apple right into the centre. She had scribbled the words "Kallisti" on it. Translation: to the fairest. You could imagine the hullabaloo that kicked off as they all fought for the apple. Whoops! Starting the Trojan War.
